The job is to sell exhibition space, sponsorship and seminars at our exciting Small Business Expo event. Local and Global market leaders in the industry will be amongst some of your key targets. Your task will be to hit your target on exhibiting companies and contribute to this launch event. You will not be alone! You will be surrounded with an experienced and talented team to support and guide you.
The successful candidate will be confident, professional, outgoing, driven by career opportunities and financial gain. This role would suit a target driven individual with previous sales experience. Exhibition sales is an advantage but not essential.
• Responsible for hitting sales targets for exhibition revenue
• Cold calling new potential exhibitors
• Identifying and pursuing new leads
• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing exhibitors
• Achieving target quotas
• Maintaining the sales database
• Researching markets and maintaining a knowledge specific to the exhibitions and industry sectors
• Providing marketing input with e-shots, mailings
• Organizing and attending competitive events
• Willing to work flexible hours when needed & committed to getting the job done.
